IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT:

Important: You must report all claims prior to leaving Mexico and recrossing the border into the USA. Failure to report the claim prior to leaving Mexico may result in the DENIAL of your claim.

  1. Please remain calm.
  2. Do not leave the scene of the accident.
  3. Call Chubb Seguros toll free number:
    • In case of an accident or theft - in Mexico call: 800-368-1414
    • In case of a flat tire, towing, fuel etc - in Mexico call: 800-310-7590
    • These toll-free claims numbers are only valid within Mexico and must be called from a Mexico phone (OR a foreign cell phone that is roaming on Mexico cell service, they will not work from VOIP phone (i.e. Skype) or from any phone outside of the Republic of Mexico).
  4. You will be asked to provide:
    • Insurance Certificate Number
    • Name of the insured and the driver
    • Place and address where the accident occurred
    • Vehicle identification: year, make, model, type, and color
  5. When the adjuster arrives, you will be asked for the following documents:
    • Insurance Certificate
    • A valid driver's license
  6. You will be asked to complete an accident report.

Recommendations:

  1. Do not make any arrangement with the third parties, leave this part to Chubb Seguros' adjuster.
  2. If the vehicle is moved from the scene of the accident, you must inform the insurance company of the new location.
  3. Do not leave the vehicle unattended since the insurance policy does not cover partial theft of parts, unless you have purchased the "plus package option".

EN CASO DE UN ACCIDENTE:

Importante: Debe reportar todos los siniestros antes de salir de Mexico y cruzar la frontera de regreso a EE.UU. El no reportar su reclamo antes de salir de Mexico podría resultar en la Negación de su reclamo.

  1. Por favor mantenga la calma
  2. No deje la escena del accidente
  3. Llame a Chubb seguros al numero gratuito:
    • En caso de accidente o robo - en Mexico llame a: 800-368-1414
    • En caso de pinchadura de llanta, grúa, combustible etc., en Mexico llame al: 800-310-7590
    • Estos números gratuitos son solo validos dentro de Mexico y se deben de marcar desde un teléfono mexicano (O un celular extranjero haciendo roaming en un servicio celular mexicano, no funcionaran desde un teléfono vozIP (ej. Skype) o de cualquier teléfono afuera de la república mexicana).
  4. Se le pedirá que proporcione:
    • Numero de certificado de Póliza
    • Nombre del titular de la póliza y conductor
    • Dirección y lugar donde ocurrió el accidente
    • Identificación del Vehículo: Año, marca, modelo, estilo, y color
  5. Cuando el ajustador arribe, se le pedirán los siguientes documentos:
    • Certificado de seguro
    • Una licencia de conducir valida
  6. Se le pedirá completar un reporte de accidente.

Recomendaciones:

  1. No haga ningún arreglo con la otra parte, deje que esto lo haga el ajustador de Chubb Seguros.
  2. Si mueven el vehículo de la escena del accidente, deben informar a la compañía aseguradora de la nueva localidad.
  3. No deje el vehículo sin atender ya que la póliza no cubre robo parcial de partes, al menos que haya comprado la opción de cobertura plus.
